Third, wannabe dictators do not worry if what they say is true or false. For them, truth is subjective. They know that any lie told enough will eventually be regarded in truth. Pump up the people and organizations that back your lies. Discredit those who seek the truth.

They do their best to keep the population focused on trivial matters, stoking the flames of amusement, such as sports, games, rallies and TV, or ridiculousness, such as crazy social media posts for a recent example, to keep people talking and debating the things of no consequence.

We start by paying close attention to history and the people who have lived through similar experiences and we learn from them.

We start by learning how to fulfill ourselves and grow to be the best human beings internally that we can be, so that we never feel the need to belittle or mock a fellow soul.

We start by demanding the truth and proof.

We start by pulling back the curtain of the circus they are showing us and really pay attention to what is happening behind the scenes.

We start by being the type of compassionate person another human being can trust to do the right thing for them.

We start by immediately invalidating any attempt by the wannabe dictator and followers to discredit our democratic system. We demand the same from our elected officials.
